Synopsis
A total of thirty-two patients with distal femur fractures were randomized to receive immediate full weight-bearing (n=9) or temporary partial weight-bearing (n=17). The primary outcome of interest was actual weight-bearing capability. Secondary outcomes of interest included gait cadence, compliance with weight-bearing restrictions, and functional recovery.
