Synopsis

216 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were randomized to receive either pre- and post-operative mindfulness meditation (full-MM; n=73), preoperative MM (preop MM; n=76), or control (n=67). The Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was assessed at 2-, 6-, and 12-weeks post-operatively. No differences in PSQI scores were reported between all three groups.
