Synopsis

4,936 patients aged 60 years or older, scheduled for a hemiarthroplasty surgery to treat hip fracture, were randomized to receive single-antibiotic loaded cement (n=2,453) or high-dose, dual-antibiotic loaded cement (n=2,483).
